i was just wondering how sam barros can afford the railguns and such, hv capacitors and his 1 megawatt laser he building? i mean 100kj railguns are not cheap.

Good question! The main reason I can afford a lot of these things because I find them used or surplus for much cheaper than they would cost new. I use Ebay and several contacts at surplus stores or junkyards and I negotiate prices.
The second reason is that I am fortunate enough to have a good job which pays me well enough for me to be able to put some money towards my hobbies from time to time
