isn't the rail gun about at its limit?
after all i thought railguns needed a nuclear reactor to power them.
it seems like a high voltage generator would be needed.
perhaps generator powered by a high octane gasoline mixture with LOx mixed in.
or are the capacitors enough?
I would also like to see the rail gun fired at some targets of various materials ie steel, paper,pop can, etc

Capacitors are more than enough. Do some googling; railguns have been fired at over ten million joules of muzzle kinetic energy from capacitor banks. No nuclear reactor or gasoline needed; just a big energy storage bank and the charger to charge it up with.
